But as our brand grew away from glass blowing, so did our purpose. How We Started - 2017 OUR STORY Small Family Owned & Operated My nephew Chiblay Slice and I had started KD Art in 2017 as a way to live a life that was full of creativity and freedom. We weren't made for regular 9 - 5 jobs where you did the same exact thing all day, we had bigger dreams. So with the help of a little painting for inspiration, we combined our forces and KD Art was born. With our new brand, we were ready to do creative work around the capital region of Albany, New York. Traveling and setting up vendor booths at small local shows in the capital district and Pennsylvania allowed us to spread out message of keeping your creative dreams alive. Stock your shelves — we deliver or ship the agreed items to you. Sell & track — you sell the products at the agreed price and track sales. Get settled up — at the end of each payment period, you send payment for sold items. TERMS & AGREEMENTS Split: 60/40 — you keep 40% of each sale, we keep 60%. Payment schedule: Once a month, based on sales reports. Inventory: Unsold items stay our property and can be swapped or returned after the agreed display period. Damages: If products are damaged while in your shop, we’ll work out a fair solution. Pricing: Stick to the agreed retail price unless we approve a sale or promotion. We can also provide small branded signs or display suggestions to help them stand out. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Can I choose which products I carry? Absolutely — we’ll work together to pick the perfect lineup. Take a look at all of our products in our online store and see what you like (custom merchandise is not available for consignment). What if something doesn’t sell? No stress. We can swap it out for other designs or take it back after the display period. Can I put your products on sale? Yes, as long as we agree on it beforehand.
